From The Desk Of Moshe Feiglin

At the Crossroads
The triumphant cries of both Likud and Kadimah after the election results were publicized have quickly melted into feelings of dejection and dead-end. The big winner in these elections is none other than Ehud Olmert, who will continue to serve as prime minister in a transition government - which cannot be toppled by law. For the first time in Israel's history, the prime minister serving when the new Knesset members will be sworn in will not be a Knesset member.

The elections may be behind us, but the billboards prevail. Driving through Israel, one can still see the large pictures of Netanyahu with the slogan, "A strong Likud - a stable government." The slogan is right on the mark. Because a weak Likud means an unstable government. And a Likud that lost to Kadimah may just mean no government at all.

Summer Elections?

G-d works in mysterious ways. The mighty war between the Jewish State struggling to be born and the banal state whose only goal is to create a "safe haven" has caused Netanyahu to bring the Likud to defeat. Now the coalition-building is stuck, and sooner or later, new elections will be called.

With G-d's help, we will be entering the next elections after having made exponential progress in media exposure and popular familiarity and enthusiasm for our ideas. Politically, it is clear that the belief-based message brings in votes, while its negation causes defeat.

We cannot know exactly when the next elections will be held. But we have to be ready for them in the very foreseeable future. Before elections, primaries for the head of the Likud will take place. I have already announced my intention to run. With G-d's help, I will also win.
